Smashing Results from Smashbox

Searching for your perfect makeup components can take forever, sometimes lasting years before you discover the perfect fit. Since wearing my first hint of foundation over a decade ago, I’ve sampled numerous lipsticks, eyeshadows, mascaras, and blushes before settling on my favorite colors and brands. I’ve gone from a tween who wears tacky sparkle eyeshadows to someone who has formed a somewhat educated opinion on cosmetics. It’s been a long road and yet I still find myself searching for certain products.

To help in my search for the best makeup primer, I was thrilled to be given the opportunity to try Smashbox’s Photo Finish Foundation Primer. With so many events over the holidays (all family related, by the way), I wanted my makeup to look spot-on. This goal becomes super important when there will be evidence of my presence on Facebook. I gladly tried Smashbox’s product in hopes that maybe, if I was lucky, it would produce the effects I wanted on its first try.

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer

Over the last few weeks, I have been totally impressed with this foundation primer. Available in other editions, including color correcting, hydrating, anti-aging, and bronzing, Smashbox has successfully created a top-notch product that still offers a bit of variety. It’s also oil-free with a matte finish, allowing me to achieve a good look without piling on the powder.

If you’re on the hunt for a foundation primer, whether you’re looking for a better one or haven’t tried this type of product at all, Smashbox’s Photo Finish Foundation Primer is worth the $36 price tag. Click here to browse and purchase!
