Fashion Infatuation: Winter Kate

I’ll gladly admit that I’ve been obsessed with Nicole Richie since her now-ancient reality TV days on The Simple Life. Since becoming a prominent style icon with two books, multiple fashion campaigns, and a super successful fashion brand under her belt, it’s clear that Richie has traded her questionable VonDutch style for a more polished look. She’s known for sporting effortlessly chic, bohemian-inspired styles, and often wears her own House of Harlow 1960 designs. This brand, which include shoes, handbags, jewelry, and other accessories, is also a top pick of numerous fashion-forward celebs.

In 2010, Richie expanded her empire further with the birth of Winter Kate, a women’s apparel line that embodies femininity with vintage silks, gorgeous embroidery, and flowing silhouettes. The Spring/Summer 2012 Winter Kate collection definitely doesn’t disappoint, and it comes as no surprise that I want everything. Though I haven’t snatched up any pieces yet, I did get my hands on a mini film showcasing the collection’s most recent photo shoot.

Thanks to Emslie Creative for also sharing a few exclusive images with me. Winter Kate’s newest collection is now available to shop here and here. Die for everything like moi?

And if the sneak peek into the world of Winter Kate doesn’t entice you enough, Richie’s House of Harlow 1960 jewelry is also quite stunning indeed. Her pieces, which are full of personality but just classic enough, are truly the perfect touch to any outfit. A few of my favorite items from House of Harlow 1960 include:

$225 Long Antler Cuff w/ Cabochon

$75 Black Leather Necklace

$70 Black Triangle Cuff in Gold Plated Black Resin

$39 Antiqued Gold Totem Pole Earrings
