Rescue My Skin

Ever since I saw the huge ad in their Georgetown store window, I’d been curious about Kiehl’s Skin Rescuer Stress-Minimizing Daily Hydrator. I finally made it in – albeit conveniently once the product was in stock – and have since been using it for over a month.
This luxe hydrator was described to me by an assistant at a cosmetics store that DID NOT HAVE IT YET as a product uniquely focused on the battle between stress and skin. So once I had the chance, I bought the product out of curiosity, and in hopes that it’d actually do good things for my complexion. One rating on the website reads: “I use this when I’ve had too much to drink or been in the sun all day,” which describes exactly when and why I apply this product without admitting it.

Per Kiehl’s website, which you should visit if you’re interested in purchasing, I love the scrolling Stress Management Tips. My favorites include GET YOUR BEAUTY SLEEP i like 10+ hours when possible PROTECT YOUR SKIN don’t fry it at the beach, and EXERCISE Pure Barre is my new obsession.

The good news is that I’ve actually noticed a difference from my daily dedication to this product. My skin doesn’t break out as often, and it certainly isn’t as dry. However, I’d recommend adding an SPF lotion after application; I like Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moisturizer with SPF 30, or Simple Skincare’s Protecting Light Moisturizer with SPF 15 as a more wallet-friendly option.
