Bag it in a Bucket

Any purse is a plus for me. The bucket bag has been an intriguing style as of late, especially after I found and then stole a vintage Gucci number from my Mother’s closet.

Whether it’s the popular Alexander Wang Diego Bag or an old Gucci favorite like mine, something’s gotta be said about this style’s functionality and convenience. It’s large and deep enough to hold everything without being too overwhelming on any body type.

This fall seems to be offering up these bags in bulk, and thankfully not always at a hefty price. I love the deep maroon hue of this Madewell beauty, as well as Zara’s black, simple buckle bag with metal detailing.

What’s extremely appealing to the wallet – or mine at least – is Mango’s Crocodile Bucket Bag, priced at $29.99. Who really cares if it’s faux because the pros outweigh the cons here. The price – duh – but it’s the versatile grey shade that will mix well with so many different looks. Another pick to get in on this trend is Forever 21’s Bolt Studded Bag. As much as I love a good investment piece splurge, you don’t always have to scrape the bucket for change to get this season’s greatest bag.
